Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why is the CushionX court surface at LPC so good?
The CushionX court system at LPC has a thin layer of cushion beneath the court surface. At a glance, the surface looks and feels just like a high-quality gritty outdoor pickleball court. However, when scientifically tested, CushionX showed to have an impact resistance of 80 pounds. This is a very important feature of CushionX. This means that the bounce of a pickleball is not negatively affected by this thin layer of cushion -- because a pickleball can't generate 80 pounds of force. But our body's can generate 80 pounds of force (and much greater), and that's what provides the true health benefits of CushionX: • Less wear and tear on joints • Especially beneficial for feet, ankles, knees, hips and back • Faster recovery • Less injuries • More time playing

Troubleshooting If when trying to join LPC through CourtReserve you receive an error message stating that your email address / user already exists, this means that you already have an account set up in CourtReserve. You may already have an account from another club you are a member or guest of (possibly a golf club like Le Triomphe, or a resort like Watercolor). The fix is easy enough: Go to the CourtReserve login page and go through the forgot password process. Reset your password and login to CourtReserve. Select My Organizations. Select Add Organization. Search for Lafayette Pickleball Club. Add Lafayette Pickleball Club to your organizations. Select Edit My Organizations. Set Lafayette Pickleball Club as Make Primary organization. Re-attempt to now join LPC (either as Member or Visitor). If you still have issues, please contact us.
